.. after 5 * minutes of normal use.

Can anyone recommend me a good quality indoor doormat please? We've had a few in quick succession that seem to molt if you look at them.. I hate 'buy cheap buy twice/thrice/etc.' scenarios so don't mind paying a bit more as long as the * thing works.

Thanks

I have some of the plain IKEA ones. Rectangle of senses coconut matting stuff, full width of the hall and into the cupboard. They'reancient when I beat the shit out of it it comes up as good as new.

Yep, Turtle Mat or Hug Rug (they're pretty much the same thing).

We've got 4 very good mats that I'd happily recommend. Hold the dirt well and machine wash nicely.

Just been to check the back of them for you. They're all turtle mats.

The IKEA coir one is holding up pretty well, had to buy the biggest they do and trim it down since all the mats seem to be made metric sizes and our mat well was made in inches.

Another deliberate TOTW attempt!

I bought 2 from Amazon when I moved here 8 years ago, they still look the same as they did then:

We've had the first 2 metres of the hallway covered in this stuff for ages

https://www.coirmats.co.uk/coir-matting-cut-to-size.html

Still looks pretty new, and covered wall to wall so can't move about.

Same here, although not had them for as long.

I want to say this is the dullest thread ever but I too have been suffering the crap home bargains door mats that crumble away. It's been niggling me for a while and on the hunt for a superior foot wiperer.
