I'm considering getting a dead cheap/small projector for zwifting in the garage. Probably 720p would be fine and it doesn't have to be great image quality (I'll be looking at my stem mostly). I think this would be more convenient than cheap+big TV. Are any of these sub £100 projectors any good?

Meant to say 720p support, not native resolution.

They are ok, biggest issue is bulb brightnes on cheap ones, the ambient light in the room needs to be fairly low otherwise the image looks pretty washed out.

Second had 'dumb' flatscreen is what i'd be looking at, e.g. http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/117506376/sony-40-inch-tv.html?link=%2Fclassifieds%2Fhome-entertainment%2Ftelevision-satellite-home-cinema%2Fall%2Fuk%2Fused%2Bflat%2Bscreen%2Btv

As above you could end up cycling away in a dark room .

Don’t know about the cheapo projectors but sometimes the fan noise on a projector them can be a bit annoying.

Although in conjunction with a big fan and a noisey trainer may not be an issue.

I’m thinking of a mobile tv stand for my old lcd telly.

Currently using one of the iPad pros with a large screen on a laptop stand which actually works well as it’s in a better position when your bent over on bike.
