What happens to all those little bits of unrecyclable plastic and aluminium foil?
I read the bit about recycling them, but that looks very optimistic. I imagine 99% end up dumped in landfill, or washed into the oceans.

And another number from there, 24% get recycled by Nespresso, the rest are either dumped, or incinerated. Although that may only be in Switzerland.
Back in the UK, it's probably mostly ending up in landfill.
