Need help finding a toggle clamp thingy.
i have found one, well this one:

I like this one as its a high profile one so i can get bigger things under it instead of getting a lower one and raising it with a block.
Also needs to be compact as possible hence the forward closure.
My only gripe with this website is apart from not being allowed to enter my post code in, There postage is a much as the clamp so not so keen...

To be honest that doesn't look half bad even if you are paying the same again for postage.
I'd be going to somewhere like Wixroyd for stuff like that for work, but a quick look shows you'd be paying nearer £18 minimum for a toggle clamp & none of them look as slick as that one for the requirements you describe.
rs sell a lot of goodhand stuff. Is it on there? (i'm not going to look for you)
