Our wee house has no shortage of chimneys, I reckon there's been five at one point or another (not a boast, it's a 2 bedroom mid terrace bungalow!).

All of them bar one are on internal walls, the only one on an external wall is causing me damp issues. It's in the wee yins room, and I need to get it sorted.

Single story, the chimney was taken away before we moved in and slated over, I've put an external and internal air brick at knee height, which has improved it a bit, but there's still a problem there. Should I do the same internally and externally at just below ceiling height?.

I'd just try the external vent first, as high as possible.

Cool, I think I'll make the lower external one a little larger too, and put a big one up top on the external wall.

Thanks BnD and SO.
