Okay dull as dishwater I know, I have a Vax C85 vacuum that is clean an filters in good shape. When I turn it on it sucks like a sucky thing, happy hoovering. After a minute or so the suck just fades away. I can't for the life of me work out why.
Anybody got any wise words? There is no discernable change in the motor sound, the damn thing just loses power

See if you can find an exploded parts diagram for it - there might be more filters than you are aware off

yeah thats a good call.
I found a good you tube strip down, right to the motor. That's next if I don't get anywhere!!
