I don't think it would be too hard for a defence to allude to what just about any jury member would be aware of.

I couldn't give a toss she lied, she didn't do it to me and I'm unlikely to ever be in a situation where her fibs are a cause for concern for my interests.
Understandable that people would be cynical, given her conduct in relation to the widely publicised trial. It was clearly on the mind of the Guardian reviewer, who concludes their article;

It will be interesting to see if any of the shouty people above actually watched it and then, to see what their thoughts on it are.
I watched the last half of it. It was a considered and powerful program, very much about JW, not Vardy. I found it interesting, sad and well worth a watch.
It gave weight to my argument that like kids clubs, care services, education services and health services, all religions should be subject to formal registration and inspection.
Glad to see that the most liked comments here are the ones displaying empathy and understanding rather than cynicism and doubt.
