I've tied soothing and reassuring words, but one of the sensors on my van is getting right triggered at the slightest obstacle. If there's nothing in its field of view it's quiet, but as soon as anything get to the edge of it's zone it's flashing an beeping like I've already hit it. The external face is clean and I've no newly installed tow-bar or anything else to disturb it.
Most likely solution? New sensor, or just a good clean of the plug and socket? Any other approach to try if they don't work?
It sounds as though it is doing what is is meant to do...warning you that there is an object close by.
No, there's not though. There may be a object a couple of meters distant, but it's blarting away like it's already in the bumper. This is definitely not normal behaviour.
Probably got a micro piece of muck in it, jet wash it again from various angles, that worked for me.
