Hello,
I would like to hire a van over Easter, picking up on Thursday, dropping off on Bank Holiday Monday. I would like to hire the van somewhere around the Manchester/Preston area as part of my journey between Cardiff and Whitehaven.
Trouble is it is difficult to know which places might be open or have a key drop-off facilities on the bank holiday.
Does anyone know the van rental establishments of the North well enough to advise or is there no alternative but to do a big ring-round?
AVIS/Hertz/Thrifty/Enterprise - big firms that offer out of hours drop-off.
Sometimes they charge a few quid extra though & you're usually still liable for damage for ~8hours after the lease until they collect.
