My new to me Transit is coming next week. The old one is insulated, but not too well. Used a mixture of loose fibre glass, that foil stuff etc.
After tons of googling I'm thinking...
1, Flash tape on panels, to deaden sound
2, Aluminium/bubble foil glued with heat proof spray adhesive in all panels
3, white synthetic fleece
4, polythene taped over as vapour barrier
5, ply panels carpeted and carpet all bare metal too
The roof? No real idea yet...
It's a working van Mon-Fri, so dead basic inside with just a tried and tested fold down double bed.
someone did a van conversion in here recently, and I think general consensus was polyurethane batts (Thinsulate/kingspan type stuff) for insulation would work the best.
