You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
This will be 1st ever festival - doing it as a birthday present for my wife, just wanted to know what the caravan pitches were like, we have just had a new tourer and just want a bit of background to see if the sites you can stay on are good?
Imagine a field, now cram as many tents/caravans/people in as you can, now squeeze a few more in.
Like that.
The camping at Stafford is simply horrific if you can't be arsed to walk a good way from the main arena. We always make the effort and it's bearable at best. As for the caravans who knows. Good festival, lots of pissed up kids so be on your toes to avoid the dickheads.
Good festival
I'd have to disagree. Used to be, but now full of pissed louts shouting at each other.
Try Latitude in Suffolk, a bit more civilized, V is for the kiddies these days
Isle of Wight is good for camping and Leeds has best 'quiet' area where camper vans pitch but leave before the Sunday night fires 😯
I wouldn't be taking a new anything to the V 'festival'. You will be surrounded by pissheads who are there to out drink/drug each other, while whatever shit is in the charts goes through the motions on the stage.
If your van remains intact after the succession of revellers have pissed/puked/shitted up the side of it, the ground will be so churned up that it'll take a tractor to drag it off. If it's muddy, the inside of your van will be wrecked.
Buy a chep tent that you don't mind chucking away, and enjoy it more. Or go to a more civilised festival where you won't be surrounded by dicks.
So even in the dedicated camper van field its poor is that right?
Yep
Having been to both V locations , the one in Essex is the worst.
Never again , as said above , lots of better options.
