Hi, is there a way to check how long a fellow STW forum member has been a member? When I view my profile I can see when I joined but knowing the name of another member is there a way to check out when they joined?

Sort of like understanding if someone is a STW vintage wine or a STW beaujolais....

Thanks,

Just click on the username and it tells you...

...you won't see any before December 24, 2008 as that is when the Great Russian Hack took place. Many of us have been here since the dawn of time! 🙂

Thank you, that works for your reply and forum posts. What about if someone sent me a PM and all I have is that and their username? Any way of checking them out?

You can go straight to their profile if you have the username -

Just put their username on the end of the URL instead of yours

singletrackworld.com/user/who?

The url is simply the username, eg: https://singletrackworld [DOT]com/user/keppoch/

Not just me who finds this new linking a bit shite then, where it doesn't show the link but embeds a load of crap from the page! I use the link URL on the toolbar to get around it, but its a bit of a PITA

Yeh it would be better if it just defaulted to a regular text link, if you just copy and paste a link into a post...

Can get it to work with lots of your usernames but not 'Ian real gray' that I would like to check on. Oh well.

there can't be spaces in usernames, so look for, say, underscores or something

Wasn't there a page somewhere listing all members? I'm sure I saw it somewhere, shortly after the big update.

I found this page, maybe that was it, but it appears to be either broken or turned off.

Or both - show the box but also show the URL underneath.

Or hyphens! Is this the beaujolais in question?

Edit: Sorry for the multiple posts. I would edit and condense them into one... if I could be bothered 😁
