Make a fireside wood store
OK these are not old rims they are new ones waiting to be built up
the 2 fat rims side by side work well for my logs but with some metal spacers bolted on to any old rims and a couple of coach bolts as legs to stop em rolling away
I think they could look pretty good

What wheel size for storing wood? 🙂
I've got a few old rims sitting around ready to be turned into clothes hangers when I get some spare time (bent spoke to make the hook and threaded in reverse through the eyelet). Like the Reynolds carbon one that was on here a few months ago...
looks like the old adege about mechanics cars is true ..... aint you a flooringfitter to trade trout ?
I like that idea with the rims..... Ill need to dig out some old wheels but i like it.
Wood burning and fatbiking in one picture! Double niche whammy!
Nice idea that, shame we haven't got the room for one.
my old rims arent round enough to use!
You need to use 650b rims, it really makes the fire come ali... argh, call 999, quick!
Morzine?
Better still, just adapt old ones to the new niche

I like that 40mpg. Thinking of building a low budget fat bike from my pile of frames, scrap wheels & spares box and a little help from an angle grinder and mig welder. Those are definitely the flavor of wheels that will be going on it.
Shouldn't the offset go the other way round?
Back on the log topic it only needs 1 Fat rim so have doubled the storage
