I am using three to four usb ports on my laptop at anyone time for djing, music making and and finally a dac. I would like to simplify the setup and just plug one usb line in using a powered usb hub (most of the devices need power as well as data) what I am worried about is data loss in using the hubs and this effecting the audio streaming.
Please bare with me if this is a stupid notion I am no computer expert.
I dont understand - My Hubs dont have USB ports. Do I need to upgrade to King?

Never experienced any problems with through put of the data using a hub with audio devices. The biggest problem will be power like you mention.
Can you get them with 36 holes?

Thats a good idea - little dynamo inside the hub - USB connection to your lights.

Got one of those on my utility/touring bike. USB port is in the top cap. Dead handy, can charge light/phone/gps/etc.
back on topic, you should be fine with any decent powered hub. Might be less of an issue with a Mac than PC (if that's what you have) as Mac USB ports tend to be higher power anyway.
It would be powered with a PC just worried about the Audio streaming as it seems to be so easily effected by data loss.
