this is most likely a silly question... I have a new front road light that charges through a usb. The manual says use a 500mA charging plug. It appears that most of these are 1A, certainly the iphone ones we have, plus those on a 6 docker Anker base unit we use for most things at home. Are these all cross compatible and sort themselves out or do I need to go find a lower amperage plug ?
Light is a bontrager ion pro rt.
Thanks
Charger current rating is the maximum it can supply - so really more the better as the charger will be able to fast-charge devices that can draw more that 0.5A.
The supply is still 5V and the light will just draw what it needs - so you're good to go.
aha, great, thank you !
