A badly timed upgrade to Windows 10 has left my laptop unable to read my daughters revision files for her A level exam on weds.
i really need a quick fix please.....the files are .DOCX that used to be read quite happily with our windows 7 setup....
Not an IT bod but I think google docs will open one of these if you import it in. I'm sure I had to do it before.
Add the Word app in Chrome or Edge...think you'll need a Hotmail account though. I installed Windows 10 yesterday and the Word/Excel/Powerpoint apps are what I'll be using until i decide whether its worth re-installing MS Office
