You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've recently tried sending something to the USA. 7kg package. It was/is quite valuable, so got all the insurance and stuff UPS sell you when you organise the collection.
Anyway, it's been sitting in Castle Donnigton Airport for 10 days with a note on the tracker "missing invoice" but thats it. UPS Customer Services are rubbish, the only comment from them was what I read on the tracker.. So it seems the package is now winging it's way back to me and the buyer is naturally frustrated.
Anyone have any ideas what "missing invoice" could actually be?
Everything was stated correctly on the documentation my end..
Herrrrrumpf.
Hi goods need a commercial invoice when shipped so customs can then decide what duties are due, If you are sending something expensive to the US you should be using Fedex there standard delivery into US is nextday.
Cheers for that.
Did you give it a commercial invoice? Our ups guys are pretty good, they’ll check the paperwork, you’ll need several copies etc.
Give them a bell, you’ll be able to email one into them. If you provided an email when you booked it check your junk etc, they may have emailed you.
You’ll need to get hs codes etc. Drop me a pm if you like and I’ll send you one of ours if you want a template. It’s straightforward.
