Hi

I have about 100 pictures from a trip, on my phone, and I've bene trying to upload them to Flickr.

It all seems to work, but it tends to upload 5-10, and then just stop. No error message. This is the same whether I select from my phone's photo storage app and send to Flickr, or whether I use the uploader on the Flickr app.
I got them all on eventually but it has taken eight attempts, and most of the day.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Is there a limit to how many I can upload at once? Is it always like this? Am I doing it wrong?

Have you got a Pro account?
If not you may have reached a limit.

Not had any issues myself but I don't tend to upload in bulk, as above if not pro then there's a 50 private photo limit, and 1000 overall limit

Possibly your connection maybe? Slow upload? Or if you're exiting the app while it's uploading your phone might be killing the app in the background, some have aggressive battery optimisation policies which can cause this.

I gave up on Flickr for this reason. Uploading from iPhone was hit and miss. Uploading from Mac, the app just stopped working. Poor for a paid service.

Dumped Flickr years ago.

Most of it is "Digital Litter" IMO. Not just Flickr BTW.

Even uploading from our iMac their upload feature never manages more than about 100 photos. Have a few 100 from an Alps trip and never managed to upload the set as it just crashed mid upload. Tried several times.

Although not tried recently.

I use an app called Flickfolio to upload to Flickr. Works very well and seems much more reliable than the actual Flickr app.
