Uploading pics - is it just me?

Find a suitable resolution pic, upload it, looks fine. Come back to the thread later and it's horribly compressed to the point where I'd probably not have bothered uploading it in the first place.

Anyone else?

Certainly I've noticed a few ropey-looking fuzzy pics recently, so probably not just you having the problem. That doesnt help solve it, obviously

I can upload but can't view anyone's uploads, just see an image icon.

When I open the image in a new tab, the address is e.g. ?ezimgfmt=rs:477x1024/rscb14

And the error is "Your request header section exceeds the maximum allowed size."

Works fine when not logged in.

I'm guessing the "ezo" bit in the address is Ezoic the ad network which seems to be the cause of all sorts of problems on this site. Not sure why they need to be involved with the image uploading, and not just stick to doing the ads.

I couldn't upload any pics yesterday, getting some message about them not being .jpg etc and/or under 10MB.

Today I can upload pics again

IMAG0055

Same PC, same apps open, it's not even been rebooted since yesterday.

Top picture STW hosting, 2nd picture hosted on Flickr

They look the same, I thinks it's because we cannot view them full size. On my the PC the picture is much clearer.
