Finally got round to deleting stuff from my phone to make way for the update. How's long does the update take? Have they sorted out the glitches?

It will take about 20 minutes I think. Maybe a little longer as it has to reboot a couple of times. What sort of phone? Newer ones are faster than old...

iOS7 is at least as stable as 6 now.

No glitches on the iPads and iPhones in my house. It's worth the upgrade, not revolutionary, more of an aesthetic tickle with a few nice touches, but an improvement in my view. Last time I upgraded a device it took about 10 mins, maybe a bit less.

Cheers, it's a 4s. I just don't want to be up until 2am switching it on and off like I did the night before I went away on holiday!

Took about half an hour I think on my 4. I expected it to pretty much render the phone so slow as to be useless but quite surprised that it's actually useable.

I upgraded my 4s to IoS7 a few weeks back. It's been rock solid, no glitches or problems at all.

My 4 runs perfectly happily with 7 installed. I use it every day, as it has a 3 sim, for unlimited data; (not that it makes much difference, where I live and work coincides with bloody great holes in 3's coverage 😐 ) what's handy with it is it's my iPod, and it has Shazam on it, so I can tag loads of stuff on 6Music, and download directly onto the phone, which is quick and easy. When I've got data, that is...

4 and 4S both fine - maybe half an hour or so? Can't recall, but not so long as to be noteworthy.r
