I had an unvented cylinder installed a couple of months ago, should I get a gas safe cert? Last time I had one installed I got one. This time installer is saying no I don't get one..

I think you should have got a certificate of some sort from whoever approved the unvented bit (as opposed to Gas Safe) or building regs approval.

(I have no particular expertise in this area, other than having once lived in a flat with a Megaflow that broke)

Installer should be G3 certified. Cylinder should be registered with installers credentials with manufacturer apparently.

"Cylinder should be registered with installers credentials with manufacturer apparently."

what does that mean in practice? no gas safe cert..

Can I look them up to see if they were g3 certified?
