I think maybe you should get off your phone and show your Mrs what hotel beds are made for.

I was going to make a joke but I believe the above two posts have pretty much covered it.

Excellent responces ... OP is this where you realise the Mrs is expecting to be wined and dined in style and sophistication and you've only packed jeans and 2 t-shirts ?

Shine a black light/ UV light on the sheets and furniture and count how long it takes her to repackage.
I bet it's blooming quicker 😆

Contingency planning, innit! All possible scenarios have to be allowed for. I spent nine days away in a tent, one bag with everything I thought I might need, and even then most didn't get used. 😉

You're not really meant to pack them in a suitcase.

We just travelled or 9 days (5 destinations in Burma) with a 1 year old and 3 year old.

My wife can unpack in under 10 mins. Practice, practice, practice.

No making proper use of hotel beds for us though...

I've been on trips where I could have the bags unpacked, bike built and be riding out through reception quicker than that 😉

And last night she fell down the stairs and broke her wrist.

Selfish sod.

😆

It's been an eventful holiday so far..

She's fine BTW, a bit pissed off but fine...

Guess whose packing ??

Unpack? Surely it's just remove today's clothes from suitcase, wear, discard into plastic bag, repeat, and on the last day place plastic bag of dirty laundry into suitcase?

Not mine, they sit back with thier feet up and headphones one watching <insert current Disney fad here> just pausing to let the meal tray slide across thier laps - for 8 hrs.

Quite ironic considering the state I get in just thinking about getting on one.

Pah, did a 6 week Iceland/Canada/USA tour with just carry-on luggage earlier this year. I fact it's still packed ready for Easter's trip 😳 Haven't needed shorts and vests since 🙁
USA toploaders FTW!
