Just had a couple of negative feedbacks for the most spurious and unfair of reasons, it properly had me wanting to drive round and smash a few windows.

I've calmed down now, but FFS why do idiots do this? Just because they can from the safety of a few hundred miles and hiding behind their keyboards?

I have an email addy for one. How do I send them some properly bad viruses?

I do have postal addresses, what do you suggest I do...can't post be traced?

Actually I got a full refund on the Seiko but refunded what the guy was due.

And...

IT WASN'T A SPOON! 😡

You can report the feedback to ebay as unfair and try and get it removed.
You could also send a request to the buyer for them to amend the feedback.

Do you mix up the coffee spoons with the egg spoons?

Already reported, nothing happening.

AFAIK you can't otherwise alter feedback.

What boils my piss more quickly is the way ebay 'treats' its customers. Why would you use it?

Child abusers? Rapists? Murderers? Thieves? Dangerous drivers? wife batterers? Nope, you're right, its the unfair negative feedbackers that real make my **** boil

Stress is a silent killer, IMO it would be best to just let it go

A couple?

Coincidence?

Aren't you allowed to reply to negative feedback - on the recent ebay scammer thread the OP had posted negative feedback and the seller had a response recorded to it.

I take unfair slights on my reputation extremely seriously - particularly when made behind the safety of a keyboard and a few hundred miles.

EBay feedback does seem a bit odd. Anything less than 5 star positive feedback is considered bad. Neutral should mean not particularly bad, not particularly good. If you have a negative experience it should be OK to leave negative feedback but that doesn't seem to be how it works.

Well that's the point of EBay, they don't need to come to your place of business. In any case, what did you do wrong and what did they say?

That's odd.

For example, I will rate someone 5 stars for shipping quickly if the item gets posted that day or next day, but why should I rate as five stars if I paid, then had to wait three+ days for someone to ship? Same thing with shipping costs and communication. If they have said nothing to me, why do they rate 5 stars? If they posted 2nd class when they charged 7 quid to ship why five stars for reasonable?

willard +1

though when I sell at the moment I'm making damn sure people looking at my auction are aware of stupid RM price rises. £5.20 for 2nd class if it's thicker than 8cm no matter what it's weight!! 😯 Though I'll generally push it through My Hermes now .. but that's still £4 (inc VAT) for a 3-4 day service and quite a bit less handy for those in the sticks.

Well - having someone eat a live baby in front of me would probably do it better.

I'm on 500+ with only 2 negatives - in the last month. I'm not bothered about the effect, it's just being powerless about it.

One guy started an argument with me and seemingly gave - ve cos I argued back.

The other is sent an item to incomplete, apologised and refunded to allow him to replace the missing item I then found it and offered to send if for return of the money. He wanted it for now though as the cheap one he'd bought had broken. He then gave me - very for refusing.
