I’m a long standing (dancing?) fan but particularly loved the stuff they did with Iggy Pop last year.

Have been a massive Underworld fan since first hearing Rez in a Chamonix nightclub when it was released as a B-side in the early 90’s.

I remember thinking wtf is this!!!!! It was like discovering a new colour. Been hooked ever since. Theres been a few duff spots - namely Barbara, Barbara, Barbara but the Drift series has made up for it.

My favourite is this version of Rez from reading ‘96 as I prefer the pre Ableton stuff when they used to go a little offgrid (its the last track)

Whenever I bought a copy of 'dubnobass', it would promptly go 'walkabouts'! So, popular stuff.

Only problem with 'dubnobass' is that, for a band born out of a design company (tomato), they've made no effort to update the cd packaging.

And the while the lyrics are equally as excellent as the music, but they're not included in the packaging;(

What an album, tho.
Has anyone so eloquently articulated what it's like to be a bloke, as on 'cowgirl'?

Big fan for many years, great memories (yes! i can remember!) of some wonderful gigs.
Also loved their non-album material, like this 30+ minute wonder

hope they can come up with some more good stuff, unfortunately found their series of free releases last year a bit dull (Drift).

Riverrun series is still available, here, down the page -

oh, thats just a list. hmm

If you could track what music act / band / artists I've listened to the most in my life to this point, it would be Underworld. They never fail.

The one track I return to the most... "Dirty Epic"

The Dubnobass stuff (and Rez obvs) for me, they went a bit too serious techno trousers after for my taste.

But Dubnobass is arguably the best dance music album evs.

Will be listening to that bootleg this morning, thanks Rusty.

A fan since DubNoBass and some great live gigs over the years. Rez remains in my all time top tune list.

Theres been a few duff spots – namely Barbara, Barbara

Nothing of the sort for me - I thought this was a return to form.... each to their own.

I remember going to see them at Camden Roundhouse with a mate. We had a few beers but both agreed nothing else. Got into the gig, became best mates with some wide eyed loon in a couple of minutes and ended up as wide eyed as him. Absolutely cracking night.

Oh and Dark And Long for me please.

Struggled with the Barking album, just not techno enough for me.

Have really enjoyed the drift series but there is just so much to go at

Don’t know where to begin but they massage my ears on about 80% of rides, and have done since about 1999/2000

Live In Tokyo 25th November 2005’ is incredible. For some reason I’m nuts about these two songs and can’t shake it off for years now:

The second ‘Unknown song’ is more a long intro to King of Snake. Flipping amazing. The River run stuff like wot someone posted up there is full of gems too.

For those of you who prefer ‘club-era’ Underworld this one may have passed you by as it did me. A proper stomper

Underplayed, IMO

Quite a few off the ‘Drift’ series hit the spot too in a partial return to the ‘Dark and Long’ vibe. Which is probably why I found that the music fits so well with my solo night-rides. It just does.
