I wish to change it from print to digital only.

When I try to change it, it just tries to sell be a t shirt for an extra £12.49 . I'm tempted to cancel the subscription completely due to this constant breaking down and apparent lack of action over that. Forum still isnt updating automatically, but I think I can afford the basic minimum digital of £29/annum.

.

I dont want to hit place order, because that seems to include this t shirt i neither want nor asked for.

Everybody loves a new t-shirt. You can never have too many. I think it’d quite suit you

Or you know, you could just give the op the email address.

He's been here since 2009 and is almost as prolific a poster as I am. The subs@ address has been mentioned many many MANY times and I would genuinely be astonished if he didn't know it off the top of his head, as a subscriber. Plus, a "contact us" link listing the subscriptions address is at the bottom of this (every?) page.

This thread isn't a request for assistance, it's an excuse to have a whinge.

Or there's apparently a way to self serve a change in sub which the OP couldn't get to work.
At worst it's a way of raising awareness of a potential defect or, at best, a way of asking for help.

Or at least that's the way I see it. YM as they say MV.

I had the same issue when I tried to amend on Sunday - was going to do the same and amend to digital.

I had typed up an email to subs team requesting it get amended. But in the end I decided that i would just pay the extra £15 and keep phyiscal copies.

If I'm honest I dont really read the magazine but I think this forum is absolutely brilliant and provides a good source of knowledge, information and occasional humour. Actually think it's the best 'group' I have access to on the internet/social media. So in end I'd rather the team as Singletrack have my extra £15 in the hope it keeps going as a magazine.

I just went through the system to check this issue for myself and when I got to the checkout my total was £199 because I had a job ad in my basket from when I was testing the system a few weeks ago. I went to the shop and removed it from my basket and all was well.

It would be useful in this situation to have a 'view basket' button somewhere in the checkout process of down/upgrading subscriptions so I'll add that to our to-do list.

Bore off cougar 🙄

It should be an easy process using 'subscriptions' inside the account page.

My Account - Subscriptions - View - Change membership - View - Switch membership - FAIL

Hi Dyna... Zoe is wondering why you've not made contact with her yet. Also, have your tried removing the t-shirt from your basket?

Damn it! It is at the bottom of the page under the cunningly obvious Contact Us...

In fairness, it was late when I posted! 😁

Sorry, been really busy, didnt realize there was a time slot. but sent a message now.

There doesnt appear to be any way of removing it, and certainly no tick box or anything simple and straightforward like that. Just comes up with 'you might also like' and thats all.

Why is it in there in the first place, it wasnt put there by me ?

That isn't in your basket. That's just a suggestion for something you could add. The software we use for the shop Woocommerce is also the underlying system that runs our subscriptions and they both share the same checkout system. That's the system doing it's thing and trying to upsell you at the checkout. But it's not actually in your basket.
