Caught a little of the story in the paper today.
Skins (sponsor) pulled in private investigators and have discovered that Robert Young might not have run all the times he said he was in his record breaking attempt.
Clearly not to big to fail, impressed the sponsor did the right thing.

thanks ww, cant access the G from here.
Poor bloke is clearly unhinged, and who wouldn't be with a history like that. Therapy or some other form of mental health intervention might have been a wiser bet than a bonkers challenge ending in ignominious cheating.
Is it not possible/probable that his "history" is also a lie?
Interesting story. As MSP says who know' what is really true.
Indeed, who knows. Needs help either way really.
Reminded me a little of this story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Crowhurst
