Yeah, looks steadily out of place doesn't it? Of course it's the conifers that actually are. Lovely old tree though.

my wife’s convinced our young birch is dying but I disagree…
Locally, the Rowan trees look to have a lot more berries than usual but I think some of that is due to the leaves having now dropped too.
and how many flippin’ berries there are on rowans
