Lots of reports of unexplained lights in the sky in the U.S. For example, Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland posted this video of lights in the sky. Lets face it, if he doesn't know what they are, the rest of us are ****ed.
https://twitter.com/GovLarryHogan/status/1867608947525386534
And this. What the hell is this?
https://twitter.com/digijordan/status/1868164162628530256
Let alone this.

AI scoping us out. We're not training AI, AI is training us now.
Just looks like drones. What are people suggesting? That it's some sort of surveillance program? Aliens? Putin?
The second link is two airliners passing overhead with navigation and landing lights on
There is a map of sightings. They mostly seem to hang out over the states or the UK. Seems odd.
Seems surprising in the US that no one has shot a couple down for further investigation.
It's a shame it's at nighttime, you can't see the chemtrails

From the reports of interactions with UAPs by military pilots, whatever they are, they run rings round the worlds most advanced fighter planes and their tech. Limitless speed, manoeuvrability that appears to defy the laws of physics, no heat signatures, no visible means of propulsion etc
If an F22 can't get a lock on them then Bubba Cheeseburger in rural Alabama isn't likely to take one down with his AR15
Hubcaps, always turns out to be hubcaps
There's so much can be done with drones now that any "UFO" sightings are likely just that. Inevitably, a bit like crop circles, media coverage just leads to an avalanche of copycat activity.
And this guy was the best the state had to be elected?

So advanced and yet the have to come within range of us and are visible to the naked eye and yet no contact beyond that is seemingly attempted. What in the hell does "limitless speed" mean anyway
Things like this always seem too convenient to me. Nothing like our tech yet it happens to be some kind of flying machine with lights in the sky.
yet no contact beyond that is seemingly attempted
Becuase they are just pointing and laughing?
What in the hell does “limitless speed” mean anyway
Going from 80,000ft to 20,000ft in a matter of seconds. Disappearing from that height back into the stratosphere in seconds
This is all documented by the pilots and radar operators involved in the incidents and confirmed by the Pentagon

Probably what any animal we study thinks we show up in a vehicle of some kind and just watch them, and then scarper when we've been spotted so we don't disturb them too much.
Without radar, it’s impossible to confirm what they are.
This thread is amazing, every single person who didn’t even click the link has outed themselves. The herd outrage is real.
True, but who in their right mind would click an X link? Don't click if you're boycotting CNN 😉

This thread is amazing, every single person who didn’t even click the link
I clicked the first link.. I know Americans have a different number for a 'dozen' but that's a bit of a stretch!
And presumably we are talking about battery powered drones rather than jet/rocket propelled...
The batteries don't last long doing 'stunts' and they can't carry any weight to speak of, such as a gun&ammo or a very small explosive... And the radio control range is very small...
If you want more than a few mins flying time before the expensive toy comes crashing down...
Edit: And I also love the community note: "The stars at the 39 second mark are recognizably the constellation Orion."
Edit 2: Out of sheer bloody mindedness I checked, and If I set my location to central USA, (Kansas to be specific) Orion might be visible approximatley 7pm to 6am, assuming it's dark and atmosperic conditions allow, lol. so That comment checks out.

I'm not sure how to break this to you, but sometimes discussions on a thread deviate from the original post
It’s likely PteroDynamics XP-4 experimental drones, which have a fancy adaptive wing layout to enable VTOL and transit into level flight.
I don’t give much credence to claims of huge speeds in either horizontal or vertical flight, especially from American pilots, who did, after all, open fire on British armoured vehicles and personnel during the Gulf War, despite the vehicles having huge Union flags painted on the top. They managed to lose an entire training flight without trace once as well. See Flight 19.
I also really love the evolution of the styling of alien space craft too, back in the 60's the 'UFO's' spotted in the USA, had distinctive 60's USA asthetics, and looked almost as if you cross-bred a '57 Chevy with a frisbee.
These new alien ships are far more contemporary in style. They are no fasion slouches, they certainly keep up with the times, those pesky xenomorphs!! 😉
confirmed by the Pentagon
Which one?

Hey, remember when we shut down an international airport for days because of drones and spend millions of quid deploying the army and arrested two people and announced their identities and then spent another million quid on an investigation and there was never any evidence of there being even a single drone involved? It's mostly that. A bunch of the sightings with picture "evidence" have been instantly confirmed as photoshops, planes... and literally just bloody stars, Larry Hogan mentioned in the first post provided pictures and it took about 2 seconds for someone to realise he was looking at Orion
Well facebook free thinkers tell me this is part of operation blue beam. A conspiracy theory that they’re preparing us for an alien invasion.
If you want a rabbit hole to go down, there was an anonymous user on 4chan went on a bit of a riff about UAVs. Apparently they're almost all AI controlled and are designed/built by a mothership somewhere under the Atlantic.
https://imgur.com/a/4chan-whistleblower-NXjWQaN
Yup that’s also part of the conspiracy.
And this. What the hell is this?
If only "aeroplanes" and "Air Traffic Control" existed, we might have been able to come up with an explanation. I guess we'll just never know.
“UFO expert”
How can you have an ‘expert’ in something that doesnt exist ?
To be fair, they do exist. If you see an object, it's in the sky and you don't know what it is, then it's ipso facto a UFO.
A UFO expert could quite plausibly go "yep, those are planes, that's a drone, those there are fireflies, that's Orion FFS, and those lights are reflections from searchlights from the grand opening a mall the next town over." (I've seen the latter, it was a deeply weird sight.)
Not saying it's aliens, but it's not aliens.
There's a UFO group in Todmorden, they used to put up notices on the board in the Co-Op in Hebden Bridge asking for folks to contact them if they had any info about some cows getting out of a field one night. As if aliens who could travel FTL to a new planet would mess about with a herd of cows...
I'll file this under Same Thing.
I'm confused. There seems to be some satire here but I'm not entirely sure where.
The OP posted 2 links and a photo...
Link 1: Some idiot Governor seeing some stars and thinking they're drones, then complaining about the government not clamping down on drone owners.
Link 2: A video of some planes and an innocuous comment on crowded skies.
Photo: Clearly a drone.
No one even mentioned UFOs except in the thread title. Have I missed something, or has everyone else?
To be fair, they do exist. If you see an object, it’s in the sky and you don’t know what it is, then it’s ipso facto a UFO.
I was meaning in the Aliens from another world sense. And no surprise this is in the US, home to all those Alien abductees.
Of course this could just be another ploy for the American government to dilute their citizens freedoms a bit more, as Drones, can be a tool that can be used for nefarious purposes.
Umm... say what you see, the clue is in the question?
the clue is in the question
Indeed it is.
"Hey Cougar, there's a UFO group in the UK that's not in Glastonbury, where d'you think it is?"
😉
You’re working on the assumption that UFO = Aliens
The term UFO, in the media and public imagination to be completely associate with aliens. Probably for the entire history of the term.
So its not really a stretch of the imagination to say UFO=Aliens.
It is only recently that the usage is also linked to drones and thats probably only been in the last couple of years.
Tod would have been my second guess.
Yep, totally scans
It is only recently that the usage is also linked to drones and thats probably only been in the last couple of years.
It’s forever it’s related to an object that’s not identifiable.
“Hey Cougar, there’s a UFO group in the UK that’s not in Glastonbury, where d’you think it is?”
Ah, pedantry. Apologies, I'm usually better at spotting that. 🙂
I was meaning in the Aliens from another world sense.
Well.
There is no doubt in my mind that aliens exist.
There is no doubt in my mind that we'll never see them. They certainly aren't flying over Shitsville, Nebraska beaming up cattle.
Humans struggle to comprehend really big numbers.
It’s forever it’s related to an object that’s not identifiable.
Almost. It’s forever related to an object that’s not identified.
Humans struggle to comprehend really big numbers.
John Bishop, the comedian, grumbled about this on Infinite Monkey cage recently, and then came up with this frankly terrifying number - a whole human life lasts around 4000 weeks. As he said, it puts that wasted week on a terrible holiday in Benidorm in context.
I want to believe, but it’s time for lunch, mashed potatoes

How can you have an ‘expert’ in something that doesnt exist ?
They most certainly do. They are not very likely to be alien spaceships, but there is clearly a cultural or psychological phenomenon here if nothing else. Therefore, there is a subject in which to be an expert. Not all 'UFO experts' believe in aliens by the way.
It's Santa looking for the very few good people on his list.
It’s forever it’s related to an object that’s not identifiable
Being obtuse again Drac. OBVIOUSLY UFO is 'unidentified' in its literal meaning. I said in the media and public imagination.
If an F22 can’t get a lock on them
This is all documented by the pilots and radar operators involved in the incidents and confirmed by the Pentagon
I've always wondered why conspiracy theories are so inconsistent even within themselves, even Dr Who manages to vaguely knit together a consistent story arc over 7 decades.
Aliens in Todmorden, hiding in plain sight?
No I’m not.
So its not really a stretch of the imagination to say UFO=Aliens.
Is a stretch no matter what the media publish.
The missing cows led to the reason Todmorden was put on the UFO map.
The constable responding to the incident made a full police report that his car stopped and he was abducted. A further complication arose with the mystery of the death of a Leeds miner, whose body was found on a heap of coal in Todmorden and PC Godfrey attending the scene let slip that the mysterious injuries to the body were the same as he suffered when he'd been abducted.
Discovery channel knits so e of the pieces together https://www.discoveryuk.com/mysteries/the-unsolved-death-of-zigmund-adamski-ufo-abduction-or-foul-play/
When I joined the police in that area PC Godfrey was having a little lie-down, but his former colleagues were still happy to discuss the story.

Well, if it's aliens searching for intelligent life forms, they'll be going home mightily disappointed having been searching over the USA.
Better chance if they go over the Atlantic and look for dolphins. Or plankton even when compared to Alabama.

They’ve got a better chance having a chat with the magpies in my garden than with the majority of the USA…
surely everyone knows the real place for watching UFOs is Bonnybridge

I heard there's a mysterious giant orange blimp on its way to Washington soon
Have we all decided on what constitutes a UFO then ? Good, we can move on
The latest from the American on the spot news desk of CNN is these 'Objects' damn, another UFO reference. That these flying, no wait, that these er.. things, are not related to the interference of some foreign power, and some of them were in fact light aircraft that had been mistakenly identified, and that most of the drones were in fact drones owned by American citizens.
Though there might have been a weather balloon or two included, that fact is yet to be determined
.
So emergency over. Put away those shotguns, Iran/China/Latest perceived enemy is not on the point of launching an attack on the good old US of A.
It never ceases to amaze me that aliens only ever abduct Cyrus P. Redneck III or herds of Yorkshire cattle, they never appear to bother Brian Cox or science conference delegates
Limitless speed, manoeuvrability that appears to defy the laws of physics, no heat signatures, no visible means of propulsion etc
Warp drive; it's been theorised since Einstein. If you can build that you can build Klingon cloaking devices 🙂
they never appear to bother Brian Cox or science conference delegates
They ask too many questions.
Don't discount the idea put forward by Douglas Adams that these visitors are just doing it for a laugh and to wind us up.
If an F22 can’t get a lock on them. This is all documented by the pilots and radar operators involved in the incidents and confirmed by the Pentagon
[warning nerd content] The two more famous recent UAP sightings by US military pilots were in 2004 and more recently 2015, and both involved pilots flying F/A-18s. The first is the "Tic-Tac" sighting, a 40ft long tic tac with no visible means of propulsion, and the second the "Gimbal" recording the object looks like a sphere surrounded by a visible-light cube shape...Both objects were visible, and could be tracked by radar. Both recordings were released by the Pentagon a few years back. Given the US' history with advanced airplanes tested in secret, U2, SR71, the Have Blue/Senior Trend experimental planes that became the F-117, the lifting body experiments and on and on, it would not surprise me in the slightest to hear of some weird shit they reveal in a few decades time.[/nerd content]
I quite like the idea that some secret programme is fabricating a wide variety of sightings and stories, either with or without the knowledge of the military personnel, to obfuscate any genuine sightings of whatever they are needing to do and keep secret.

It goes some way to explain 'folk' from that side of Falkirk for sure.Even got signposts to the landing site, cos we all know aliens won't have reliable sat nav:
It’s getting worse in America, Gov Larry Hogan has posted on Xitter a video of drones over his place in Maryland. A whole horde of idiots are backing him. There’s one problem, it isn’t drones in the video, it’s aircraft on approach to the nearest airport and stars, including one easily identified asterism…
Read it and weep, and pray for America…

Check out the OP links!!
Missed the first one, I was too busy looking at the photo of what is clearly a quadcopter with red and green navigation lights.
Still, it’s worth highlighting the fact that someone who seems like they’d have trouble walking and breathing at the same time managed to get a job as a State Representative!
Just how slow can a mammal be and still have respiratory functions?
Answer me this.
If this were a spy mission on sensitive military and government sites, would these drones have navigation lights?
As far as im aware, drones don't normally come with nav lights unless fitted by the operator, and if this was for nefarious purposes, nav light would be the very last thing they'd consider fitting.
They'd also be all painted in Vantablack for starters, along with everything else that avoids drawing attention to their presence
If this were a spy mission on sensitive military and government sites, would these drones have navigation lights?
Why use a drone when you have a satellite capable of resolution of 15cm per pixel.
Excatly. But you know the American voter, they're still checking under their beds for Reds. The government security services just have to drop a couple of key words like China, Iran, national security concerns and they're happily voting away their legal rights.
There is no doubt in my mind that aliens exist.
There is no doubt in my mind that we’ll never see them
I think a small amount of doubt is required here.
I wasn't talking about your mind.
The numbers are incomprehensibly large. It's not just implausible that we're the only planet in the universe with life, it is as close to impossible as makes no odds. The only problem is that they will be a very, very, very long way away.
It's not dissimilar to the Atheist argument. I cannot disprove the existence of a god or gods, but I can say beyond any reasonable doubt that man created god in his own image rather than (as is often asserted) the other way around.
I don't know any of these things of course, and cannot. No-one can. But the balance of probability is astonishingly high.
TL;DR: Aliens exist. Aliens are not in our airspace nor in a secret bunker in Nevada. God isn't real. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk, I'm here all week. 🙂
