You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I was out on my road bike early this morning in the Peaks and spotted a really strange line of lights at around 6.15am when riding up Windgather Rocks. Essentially a perfectly straight line of solid lights silently moving from West to East, spanning the entire horizon (there were at least 50, not identically spaced but my guess was about a mile apart). I stopped and watched for about 5 minutes until they'd all passed.
I checked on Twitter and 2 other guys spotted it too, one got a decent video (I tried on my phone but it came black due to the lack of light). Thread here:

My guess is this was military aircraft, but the scale of the group was absolutely huge. I'd be interested in thoughts (and any way of answering my curiosity).
They’re Elon’s Starlink satellites.
I’m sure we’ve had a couple of threads on this before. The first time you see them is mesmerising.
SpaceX Starlink by the looks of things....
Edit - beaten to it...
Thank you! Almost certainly that based on a quick search of the images.
Video here from a last year.....
