The object was moving approximately 1500-3000 miles plus an hour. It was fast and gone within five seconds. I estimate 10,000/20’000 miles above ground.

Jeeze, there are some right odd people out there!
20,000 miles is approx 105.6 MILLION feet, and he actually saw that?!????
Sounds legit
Good eye for detail.
How am I expected to believe any of this without a corresponding YouTube video?
purple wigs and skimpy silver clad ladies 😈
oh and great soundtrack

..
There was no sound.
Impressive silencers on them UFOs 😆
I can see the sun and that's further away than that.
Probably not quite as large as a star though?
As it's a local news source, I'd guess the journalism is inaccurate to the original source. With some wild assumptions dreamt up out of nowhere for good measure.
If something was 15,000 miles up and travelling at 2,250 mph, surely it would appear to basically not be moving? In which case, how was it visible for only 5 seconds?
Perhaps he meant 10-20,000 feet?
Seems a bit more likely, even for a potential nutter.

Really? You think so??? 😉
Only on STW would we get a thread about someone claiming to have seen a UFO, and then proceed to quibble over the plausibility of its altitude.
It was probably just a sticker.
I'm with you, sparky, but then all the Anderson stuff was inspired. Maybe not Secret Service though (if that was the name).

There's nothing particularly amazing about a UFO, there's stacks of real sightings of them.
It's what somebody claims the UFO to be something in specific that it probably isn't that eyebrows start to rise.
“It is possible that these could be some sort of top secret military aircraft heading towards Lakenheath USA air force base..."
Not Gatwick then?
