With what looked like two fighter jets as escorts (F15?) Was very impressive sat on the Beach at Southwold to see them just glide by

Couldn't get a pic as high up, into the sun a bit and to slow with phone. Looks like they flew into RAF Fairford earlier so might be about some more over the next few days at least

Actually, my wife saw them over Dover today as well. Apparently over the coast of France then back North.

They arrived in Fairford 19th Aug.  Apparently their call sign was DEATH.  Probably for an exercise/annual deployment.

It will be interesting to see what the B21 looks like when its unveiled, hopefully early next year, and what additional capabilities it has over the B2.  Weirdly the B21 will replace the B2 and the Bone (B1) but not the B-52.

Yeah they were spotted in Kent, shame I missed it, would've been cool to see!

This pic from the local rag:

Yup 3 of them came in the other night, managed to catch them speaking to the tanker on the scanner as they refuelled over the highlands, Death 11 and Death 12 came first and followed the tanker down towards Newcastle then the tanker turned back and picked up Death 13 over the Isle of Skye and fuelled it down towards the border on the East coast, too dark to see but you could hear them overhead.

One of them landed at Reykjavik for several hours, possibly as part of testing of ongoing upgrades to the USAF presence there, and the three B2’s then landed at RAF Fairford. There’s some big international military exercise going on, and the B2’s are probably involved, possibly along with the B52’s currently based at Fairford. I work in Westbury, and so far I’ve seen the Buffs three times when the weather’s been clear, including earlier today, usually flying south>north towards Fairford.
There’s more detail here:

In Georgia, apparently.

One of the B-52s was doing circuits over the Malverns for about an hour yesterday, presumably waiting for escort.

Yes, as MMF says, one doing repeated laps of Malvern, burning off fuel before landing at Fairford apparently.

US tanker and a couple of B2s we’re making a lot of noise over the S Cotswolds on Monday evening, Tuesday morning. B2s looked amazing flying low in patchy cloud

Quite a good feature on BBC Points West earlier, with close-up film of the planes outside their hangars at Fairford, and interviews with crew members.
It seems they may be stationed over here for a while, from what was being said, which would fit in with the B-52’s that are already here.
