Due to Injury i have been watching more tv than usual, I have noticed a great deal of fantasy (crap) on Tv. Game of throne's, harry potterLord of the rings, etc.
I tried reading the books at one point but couldn't get into it.however give me something that is based roughly obvoiusly adapted for entertainment on history and I can enjoy. Sharpe,The horn Blower, even more modern stuff like vikings and klondike. Yet my friends are the oposite.

Sorry forgot to finish.
Am I missing some thing about fantasy, as it seems tome that the glorified history stuff is pretty similar if you takeaway any knowledge of history.
