You've made it to the top of the hill, now you need to select the perfect track to ride downhill too? Whats your 'go to' track?

This is my choice: Nero - Angst. If you listen to this all the way through I *almost* guarantee you will pedal faster. There's a specific hill where I like to listen to this one, where it flattens out at the bottom and I am absolutely flying.......

This site's good for turning youtube vids into mp3s: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

Local band. A great slow burner.

Dunno why you'd want to listen to music whilst riding.

Only listen on the turbo, but this one seems quite useful:

I like this for some faster pace work. It gives you a little breather half way through too.

Video is slightly not work or child safe.

smogmonster - beat me to it by 6 minutes.
When I've been running races, I can actually see my splits improve when I put on ACDC

😀

I usually have this on for a downhill run as it's really gnarly. I have spend about a minute adjusting my neck brace and shouting aggressively to myself before I set off, so I dont miss the drop.

not sure if there are many tech/prog metal fans on here...

But this helped me through my 5.30am ride to work today!

sub focus - triple x (12" version)

Love a bit of sub focus. Got me listening to D&b again.

Lat Jungle is one of my favorite tunes to ride to.

Wow, Sub Focus, think I remember seeing him once or twice and he was really good, might have a listen to some of his stuff on youtube.

Here's a couple more big tunes for your last run of the day (or for a big night out)

One more, that is perhaps more apt for BMX riding. Can't believe it's only got 1800 views on youtube, don't think they're a band anymore sadly.

Always makes me pedal faster. Any drum and bass fan should listen. Great sample of Cocteau Twins. 2:17 is an assault by drum. Kudos100, Last Jungle is one of my 4 year old sons fav songs. Good post.

cheers all. I wasn't sure if this thread would get many responses or just people saying 'Dunno why you'd want to listen to music whilst riding.'

I'm going to take all these and put them on my ipod, I like exploring new music. I'm also a fan of sub focus and I've had the new album a few weeks now, it's very good. Lots more vocal stuff than the last one but plenty of belters.

there is no way I'm telling you my spanking music 😉

also the only music in my head while riding is music from my mind.
