Tumble drier vents into garage at the moment, which is a bit suboptimal as far as I'm concerned given that's where the bikes are kept.
Anyone know whether there's a reason not to cut a hole in the garage door for a vent?
Alternative is to go through the ceiling & attach to existing bathroom extractor trunk, but I understand this may fall foul of building regs?

Won't you have to remove it every time you want to open the garage door? If that isn't a hassle then can't think of any other reasons as long as the hole doesn't create a significant weakness in the door. Would it affect your insurance if they broke in that way and nicked your bikes?
You could always invest in a condensing drier, which means you don't need to vent at all.
As a "Vent", this thread is a disapointment.
