Vasectomy looming this Friday.

The pamphlets and interweb say do nothing over the weekend (I interpret this as drinking heavily) and then they get ambiguous. I’m used to biking and running fairly briskly and regularly; doing nothing will do my head in.

If anyone has experience, when might I expect to be 1) commuting (road, 4 miles each way), 2) road riding for an hour or so, or even 3) running or biking in the hills for a few hours, please? Thanks.

Take it easy for a bit, you'll know when it feels ok to do some exercise.

Keep things clean down there for a few weeks.

Admire the bruising

Wear tight pants

Do not google scrotal abscess.

Clean the beads, seat the rimstrip properly and make sure your valves are properly seated.

Erm, that's good advice isn't it?

Two replies, both of which make me cringe in different ways (whilst feeling generally more positive) - more than I deserve, thanks!

You have a powerful way with words, Harry The Spider. "Bruised fruit" is a phrase I plan to use as often as possible in the near future. I hope I'll be back on the MTB before Christmas.
