Pic taken from Rob Penn's Twiter feed, thought it looked really effective.

I enjoyed the book and he came across pretty well on the ride he did in Amazon with Freddy Flintoff

As a fellow coppice fiddler and bike fettler I was rather chuffed to have met him and had a brief conversation with him at the Handmade bike show in Bristol (RIP). Very pleasant chap all in. WHich was a relief, as Id rather got myself to expecting he was a bit of an arse in real life - meeting one's "heroes" and all. Fortunately it wasnt the case.

TBH, as long as he used a Trek or Specialized in the wood pile then it's no great loss to cycling 😉

If he's anything like me he'd have incorporated a complete peloton. Tsk, amateurs.
