This sort of thing. Really good and gives a good half an hour of fitness training, core strength...or a waste of time and overpriced tat?
I'm never going to join a gym but looking to try and get a bit fitter in addition to the usual cycling and running. Any thoughts welcome.
Cheers
Fraser

I've got one - not the official TRX one but a copy from eBay.

I find it a realy good bit of kit, and makes my muscles ache in places I'd forgotten there were supposed to be muscles.

Yes..... if you've the inclination to use it.
Otherwise its an expensive toy.
Decathlon do one for a lot less just without the fancy packaging and dvd's

I've been using the official TRX one at the gym for years, and have a CRIVIT (aldi/lidl?) version at home. Good way of doing bodyweight exercises and adding a bit of instability into the mix (planks with feet in rings etc, arm curls where you pull your bodyweight up, the instability means you work your core, like on a gym ball).

I'd not buy the official one at that price, the cheap one I have is every bit as good, I think slightly better with the bigger end loops making it easier to put your foot in.

As above - good kit but no need to buy the official version. I have a set made by Valkyrie or similar from Amazon, including the wall mount which means it's immediately available for use without having to wedge things in doors. Proper hard work to start with - there is one exercise which is a press up followed by a crunch with feet hanging in the strap. I managed about two on the first attempt.

...and there's a good app called VT Suspension which probably replicates most of the DVDs that TRX supply, plus you can customise workouts and chose targeted areas to exercise.

The cheap one I got off Amazon is fine quality and a lot cheaper than TRX. Made by a company called Woss.

Just get some olympic rings for a fraction of the cost?
