I purchased some shoes online from the aforementioned retailer, they arrived and were too big. I returned them for an exchange. I can not get hold of the shop, the phone rings out, no answer to emails, contact form on web or Facebook. Anyone got any other contact info or has the shop gone under?
No idea, LOADS of recent negative reviews on TP tho so I'm guessing there's some kind of issue!
I had a bunch of similar issues with TriUK and some shoes - took about two months to sort out, they were so slow!
Only thing that seemed to work was to comment on their posts on Facebook. As much as I dislike having to do that, emails/contact forms were going nowhere. Wouldn't get a response for two weeks, try FB - response in 2 hours.
I had a bad return experience and a few mates did too, I swore never to spend another penny there.
Well they received the item 27th April and I have tried numerous times on numerous different platforms to no avail. Have commented on the Facebook post but no reply.
I can appreciate they could be busy but absolutely no acknowledgement of any emails and no answering of phones.
I ordered a replacement axle kit for a Surly hub on 19th April which was showing in stock.
Email confirmation that delivery would be before 6 May. Thought that was perhaps a bit long but given the situation waited it out, a week later still nothing. Their phone lines are switched off and they don't respond to emails. I flagged it with my bank and I got a refund but still never had any communication from Triton. I really have no idea how they expect to retain custom with no service. It's not unreasonable to expect some form of communication about an item in over a month. A quick search online suggests I am far from alone......
I bought a service kit for my Blutos last week and it arrived, no problems so someone is still working.

Same here - bought a hub from them that arrived promptly so this is deliberately ignoring a problem rather than trying to contact an 100% furloughed company.
I placed an order just over 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Tried emailing a few times but no response
Triton answered my email last week, another retailer I tried to order from over the bank holiday weekend had stopped taking orders as they were overwhelmed, I'd guess they're just really busy.
I find starting a PayPal resolution thingy usually gets an uncommunicative online retailer talking.
Two in the the last 12 weeks. Both links I'd followed from Facebook.
I have had issues too, ordered a pivot kit for transition bandit and eventually received one pivot only. Have tried to query it with no response. 3 weeks and counting.
I ordered a bike that was showing in stock on their website which they didn't have.
I emailed them at the time of ordering asking them to confirm quickly that it was in stock so I could order from somewhere else if it really wasnt in stock.
It took them a week to respond with 'It's not in stock'.
I then had to raise a paypal dispute to get them moving on the refund.
Not great - and the pish about closing the phone lines is unnecessary.
Start Fitness on the other and were fan****tingtastic.
I've bought from them without issue, so it's not all bad.
Back to the OP, if you use the email form on the website the bloke you get through to is:
luke@tritoncycles.co.uk
I ordered a set of DMR dropouts from them a few weeks back, as Upgrade didn't have them and they were showing stock. Delivery time has been and gone, emails/contact form also go unheeded.
I'm guessing the run a sort of dropship option, showing stock and ordering in as people make orders. It possibly worked when the world was working smoothly and now the demand for bikes has exploded then they can't cope with their sort of in stock system. I'm only basing this on the always seem to show small parts in stock that no one else holds and you probably sell one a year.
To justify my phone line comment, if they are as busy as they claim, and making more money than usual as a result, surely you could employ someone to answer the phone? Smacks a little bit of the hard of thinking.
Any updates on this? I've still not received my frame nor even an update on my order. 😞
