There will be haters, but being a bloke of a certain age, where Blue Monday was part of music of growing up, this arrangement is fantastic.
Count me as a hater - just googled it and seen Robbie ****ing Williams on the tracklist. I'm out.

Video killed the radio star is the song that pops into my (and won't leave) whenever I hear of Trevor Horn.
There's his Princes Trust concert on Youtube, lots of songs / bands he had a part in.
Obviously kicking off with Video Killed the Radio Star with the full cast back for the first time since the 80s.
Trevor Horn’s a brilliant producer.

As a better alternative think of Relax or Two Tribes by FGTH, or Look of Love or
Tears are not enough by ABC - all great TH productions.
Big fan of his talent, if not his music.
Heard a great story about recording Buffalo Girl with Malcolm McLaren. Who had such a poor sense of rhythm that he couldn't stay in time, so in the end Trevor Horn stood in the vocal booth, punching him in the chest on every beat, so he'd know where the beat was 😆
The bruce cover with Gabrielle Aplin is very good. Some of the others are OK, others not
It doesn’t get better than Grace
Thankfully, he wasn't just about the big, slick, throw everything at the desk and see what sticks 80s productions. This was pretty visionary at the time and for me still stands up now (the video less so - it's VERY much of its time).
Seals first album is produced by Horn and is brilliant.
(I have no intention of seeking out this new stuff though!)
The production on Welcome to the Pleasuredome and the Frankie 12” remixes was utter genius
The personal rivalry between Trevor Horn at ZTT and Martin Hannett at Factory, both equally as obsessive, pushed the boundaries of production techniques massively
If you’ve not read it, Inside New Order is a great read and has a lot about working with Martin Hannett
Give me back my heart by Dollar and Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes, the latter just for the 20 odd different reverbs on the guitar solo.
I really wanted to like this as TH is beyond talented but I'm afraid it quickly started to sound a bit indulgent (Brothers In Arms also had a faint whiff of Clannad about it).

Seal actually sings on one of the tracks...
