Having just moved to Germany, mum is keen to come out and visit but will need some travel insurance...
She is healthy and active so no problems with flying etc etc, any recommendations from owners of elderly parents ?

I can't help but I'm sure there was a similar themed thread lately, I can't locate it off hand but might be worth having a dig around the forums. Might have been on the subject of difficultly locating insurance for ppl with known medial problems - Not exactly the same as your enquiry but specialist insurers mentioned maybe your solution

Its in case mum gets ill and for some reason has to be transported home in an expensive ambulance sort of way...
Mate of mine had to spend 18K getting his parents home after a serious medical condition in Greece...
Air ambulance etc etc. Its a "just in case", but why do you ask the question ?
