To be fair he didn't have to rely on Eurostar !!!! Also people stranded at airports for hours on end etc etc .But a common thread seems to run through these disruptions .Every time something like this happens the stranded passengers are left with no information .Is it beyond said companies to try and keep their customers updated and keep them on their side ?Instead the general reaction is shoulder shrugging and keep em in the dark !( I anticipate Andy Wrigley along at some point ! )

There are only so many ways you can say. Its bad weather, you're going to be delayed. The planes cant fly because you might die.
Transport systems will breakdown and sheer demand will cascade problems further down the system. If you can't see it coming you are an idiot. Anyone with any sense will be able to work out themselves what might be happening.
They are told plenty of information. They just have no patience or a plan B. Those who can afford it will buy themselves out of the situation. yeeze takes yer chance etc...
Although it does sounds like an evacuation disaster waiting to happen in the tunnel...
