Are there any decent consumer negative scanners out there for under £100 these days?
Have a load of 35mm negs to scan and most places want £5-£10 for each roll to scan at a useful resolution (up to £30 for highest res)!
Our Veho scanner does a pretty good job...
I've read a few bad reviews about it being a bit plasticky and naff - does it capture a lot of detail?

Has a rather nice feel to it actually. Ours doesn't seem to be available any more, so I can't speak for the current models, but I think ours is OK.
Seems to do the job - have scanned a negative and compared it to a shop print of the same picture and it was pretty close.
