I finished my apprenticeship in November 2017, handed  in all my work and signed the apprenticeship completion form, then in January 2018 I received an email that my work had been lost and I had to resubmit some of it, I resent it, now I am still waiting to be issued my qualification certificate, I have left the company that I did the apprenticeship with, I am just waiting on my training provider to issue/send my certificate.
Where do I stand legally, as time is ticking and I am still without a qualification with my training provider continuing to fob me off.
Thank you
Nobody actually checks qualifications, so I doubt it anyone will demand you the produce your certificate and a cursory check to confirm you worked for the company and did an apprenticeship will probably satisfy any body checking, if they do check at all. But I guess if you have any concerns you can maybe contact the body that oversee's the qualification...for my apprenticeship back in the day it was BTec and NVQ. For a company to offer accredited apprenticeships they have to adhere to certain standards and should be audited and checked by the governing body. They may be able to advise.
Happens quite often i did a city and guilds course in Small business administration many years ago, strange we never got our certs, as the company running the course was fiddling, claiming for more people than attended , they where sacked when the gov agency found out, also the boss of the training providor went to prison.
Email the training providers, the college and btec and nvq to find out if they are legit, and see what happens from there.
Your training provider will have created a training record for you with the Apprenticeship Service - you should be able to search and find your local office who should be able to help.
