I work for a country park in Peterborough and we are looking at the possibility of constructing some purpose built mtb / skills trails within our site. Are there any companies out there people have used / could recommend

Don't have contact details for them but they have done some rather fine work. The 3 I've listed are old and I'm sure they have done much more, but those 3 are well known.
Biketrack.com have done all the Sheffield stuff - Cannings, Parkwood, Greno etc, plus Leeds Bikepark.
Rik Allsop, of Rik's Allsop Trailbuilder ( https://uk.linkedin.com/in/rik-allsop-a5980b12) and Rik's Bike Shed (Drumlanrig Castle, on Facebook, 01848 330080). Designed more recent trails at Comrie Croft, Drumlanrig, original Mabie pre-7-Stanes and others which I haven't ridden including Carbisdale and Balblair.
The first three are/were amongst my favourite trails for great riding, challenging in the best way with a natural feel.
As I live near Peterborough I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with; I hope you'll keep us posted with your progress.
