@TJ Helmet thread as suggested.

Wanna' play Tractor Trumps with the big boys hey? Well, don't forget that ol' Slugwash has an 8 mile rural ride into work! Plenty of enroute tractor traffic photo opportunities!
I give you Roger the village handyman's ancient, creaky old Ford. Complete with hitched up log waggon.......
Wonderful, I love tractors. More please. Any chance that this could replace the friday kylie thing.
@slugwash
Are you challenging me 🙂
@mt
By your command 🙂
@gingerbloke
🙂 and you got that old ford as well!
Heres a Renault form Chepstow.

Yes there is a driver in there somewhere....just.
OK I'll match your singular tractors and raise you by a whole train of classic chuggers, encountered on a club ride on the Isle of Wight. They were very friendly, but wouldnt give way!

Sad as it may seem, I believe I know that tractor, and where in be.
This post is going to run and run and run........................
😉
"David Brown ... the Tramps of the tractor world"
What about Zetors or Belarus's or ... ?
Redthunder:
Pwll Du?
Almost the exact opposite side of the county!
Very similar tractor and location, though.
Is that JD really going fast enough to have the background blurred?
It'll do something like 25-32mph at full whack
That County just wipes the board with the rest :o)
at what exactly?
Pulling wood out of forests and not going round corners
My gf's cousin (a professional tractor and various other kinds of farming style vehicle driver) is going on an all-expenses paid trip to the Claas factory in Germany, which coincidently I used to live about 100 metres away from!
I just hope my Father-in-Law can't see this as he has quite a collection of tractors! Lives near Wotton-under-Edge too 😮
Actually I have a nice picture of one of his Fordson Majors somewhere 😳
Redthunder:
MS35 - Yay!
Pure Class
I meant MF, drunk last night!
Smiffy... Pure Claas?
You guys need to visit Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk. There's a Claas depot there with lots of shiny stuff. Mate of mine liked combines for some odd reason and was always loitering around it.
Mr Willard,
an old friend of mine farms alonside Claas at Bury, and his nephew is a sales rep there.
I don't really do the big prairie arable kit, give me a little stockman's machine anyday. Climbing welsh mountains with 2WD and no roll-cage sharpens the nerve, I find.
From our garden.

There's a word for you lot... 🙂
In a shop at Weston Super Mare
Good God I lernt how to drive on one of those...
A MF I think, with a starter knob on the gear tunnel, down by your foot.

Thats not an MF. Its a Ferguson
Looks like it doesn't it? It's the front at Lytham, and I think they still work!
"Might not strictly be a tractor"
By being something providing tractive effort I think it probably is
Its far from useful as an agricultural tractor though, having started life designed as a dumper? A slightly odd choice of vehicle to adapt
Cheers Redthunder. Work was done a couple of years ago before I started biking. Changing seals on a fork is so much nicer than trying to attach a 4x4 tractor front axle 🙂
^^ My old mans 6490 (6.6 litre, 170hp)'big' tractor.
I look like I have got goal-keepers glves on!!!!
My bandwidth got beat up by the popularity of this thread 🙁
So I've put them all the pix in one place at Zooomr...
