Yes, we all know that men who drive them will be gelded/wont be stallions etc 🙄
Costs, reliability- are all things I seek.
Talk to me.
I've got a 54 plate, literally not one single thing has ever gone wrong with it (hopefully i haven't jinxed it now!). 1.4 T4D engine gets 65+mpg when i drive it carefully.
Also if i take both wheels off my road bike fits in the boot without putting the seats down.
We're up to T for Toyota this week I see.
hora - dont do it. They are crap. Build quality is rubbish.
Our neighbour has one and rates it very highly.
She is over 60 though... 😉
I had a testdrive in a 1.8 Yaris. I realised if I drove that it would result in death at somepoint 😯
My wife has one, yeah, build quality isn't fantastic, but its on a par with the Focus I had. Lots of room inside, drives pretty much how you'd expect. I quite enjoy throwing it around.
Only thing gone wrong in 4 years is the rear window heater (few bars out) replaced under warranty.
My brother works for Toyota, so if you have any specific questions you want me to fire to him, I'll give it a go.
My mate has a brand new one. He's had a tow-bar put on to cart his bike collection round on. He loves them. Reckons economy is superb. This is his 3rd I think. Excellent cars. Dont think he's ever had a problem, & reckons the Dealers are very good.
We had a Verso till last year. Lovely car but the latest diesels are a bit gutless apparently.
An update- got one and promptly threatened legal action/rejected on quality grounds. Apperently a lot of yaris's have a gearbox fault that dealers tell you "live with it, its a feature".
