Thus have do adjust your speed to the towing legal limits accordingly? Was just wondering as I had mine on today and there were Police cars sitting on the flyovers, hard standings etc and wondered if doing 70mph on the motorway with the bikes on would attract their attention and where I stood legally regards the speed limits I should be following.

You are fine at 70 mph
Back when MTBs were a new thing and towbar racks were home made or very flimsy, we were all travelling up to Kielder for a weekend. Mate got stopped on the A1 by the police and straight away went into the Im only doing 70 so whats your problem. Only to be told he was dragging the bike up the carageway. Bike was unrepairable, no idea how long it had been dragged for. Got let off as they felt sorry for him.

Just make sure your number plate is not obscured. Mate got a ticket for that
