In contrast to some recent threads highlighting what absolute tools some people are I thought I’d share this…
To cut a very long story short my mother bought a chair from the online store 2ndhnd.com in Aug 2020. Recently her husband fell while getting out of the chair and broke his femur, the arm had come loose and gave way while he was using it for leverage (not sure how it came loose or if it was damaged but anyway it gave way somehow).
I said that I had heard good things about their customer service and she should contact them. She emailed them today asking if it could be repaired and they have offered to send a replacement foc.
I also bought a chair from them a while ago and when it arrived I was not happy about the cleanliness of it. I emailed to let them know and they immediately shipped another one.
Some other companies could learn a thing or two from them…
