£24 quid to see a legend and have a night to remember... thats the same price as 5 punctures at a fiver per tube.

What would you rather have?

When you are old and boring your grandchildren...

" I once danced so much to a chap called Toots and his pals the Maytals that my legs fell off and danced off down the road without me. I had to arm dance my way home that night".

OR...
"I once sat on a cold wet hill five times and fixed flats"
"What's a flat grand dad?"
"its something cyclists used to do when they were too tight to to go to a gig"
"What's a cyclist gramps?"
"An ancient order of mishappen gentlemen who silently travelled the land on mechanical horses seeking pies and ale"
"grand dad are you completely *ucking mental?"

Come on.... easy choice.

I wish it was Toots and the Maytals, not just Toots by himself. Like when I went to see the Twinkle Brothers and it turned out to be just the one Brother. Anyways, Toots puts on an amazing live show and has still got THE voice.

£24 pricey? Be glad it isn't Dublin, it'd be more like 70 Euro over here.

It'll be an awesome jumping night...

Saw the Skatalites a few years ago in Inverness and it was one of the best nights music ever, quality showmanship and playing.

Wish I was closer..

Talented chaps but wimpy single speeders if their hit ""54-46 That's My Number"" is anything to go by

Always loved toots and the maytals. Used to drink in a punk/skinhead/hippie pub in canterbury, toots was pretty much all they would ever agree to play.

Well max romeo and occasionally steel pulse 🙂
