Customer last week his brother died of an abcess on his tooth in that so civilised usa a few years ago.
My dentist just drilled a hole in my tooth (upper right bunny tooth - gravity did the rest) to let the abscess out then inserted some sort of antibiotic stuff into it with temporary filling. After a week it got checked again and then a permanent filling was put in place (think I had root treatment as well after the antibiotic)
Ya, for me the infection was causing pain like someone hit me with a hammer in my face. 😯
